Sharepoint 2016 – Ignite and Technet

With the Ignite event on May, there is a lot of information that starts to be available on the next version of Sharepoint, so the Sharepoint 2016.

One of the most important features is the focus on the Hybrid approach, which is in reality what customers will opt for, instead of moving directly to the cloud.

With that perspective the integration between Sharepoint and Office 365 is also a strong point.

Free Microsoft E-Books

One of the most valueable thing is knowledge, therefore every way we can have access to it is most welcome.

Microsoft has over the years been releasing e-books for free on their technologies, and now we have a MONSTER list:

  • Sharepoint
  • Azure and Cloud
  • Development
  • Visual Studio and TFS
  • SQL Server
  • Windows
  • and more

you can find these e-books at this link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/11608.e-book-gallery-for-microsoft-technologies.aspx

Just passed 70-630 MOSS configuration!

It has been a while since I posted something, but it was due to heavy work on the projects i’m involved.

This morning I took the 70-630 MOSS configuration exam and passed with 1000!

This is the first of the super four I want to take (70-630 MOSS configuration, 70-631 WSS configuration , 70-541 WSS development and 70-542 MOSS Development).

I did not found the exam difficult, because I am working with MOSS since the Beta 1, therefore most of the questions I already knew.

The next step should be the 70-542 MOSS development 🙂
